Liaison Technologies Acquires Contivo
Forbes
March 18, 2008
Liaison Technologies, Inc. a global data management and business-to-business
(B2B) integration services provider, announced today it has completed
the acquisition of Contivo, Inc. a leading provider of application
independent automated data transformation (or mapping) software.
The terms of the deal were not disclosed.
The deal comes on the heels of Liaison's recent announcement of
its merger with Anilinker, a European integration services company.
Announced on March 13, that merger agreement nearly doubled Liaison's
size and extended its ability to serve the global needs of multinational
customers.
"The addition of Contivo brings a wealth of strategic technology,
intellectual property, and expert resources to our rapidly growing
organization," said Bob Renner, CEO of Liaison. "We plan to leverage
this innovative technology to our customers' advantage, and help
them create, migrate, and own their own business-critical maps,
no matter what integration platform they select."
"This acquisition sets Liaison Technologies apart in the Integration
Service Provider (ISP) market as the only company to offer both
full-service integration outsourcing and application-independent
data transformation that complements a wide variety of service-oriented
architecture (SOA) applications," said Ed Wiggins, former CEO of
Contivo, Inc. and Liaison's new Executive Vice President of Business
Development.
The acquisition allows Liaison to broaden its integration solutions
and offer mapping services and software for its customers' enterprise
application (EAI) and B2B integration needs. Liaison will continue
to market the acquired software under the Contivo brand name.
