Biography

Andy focuses on ScaleVP’s investments in next-generation enterprise software and new datacenter technologies – including virtualization and cloud computing. Andy sits on the boards of Entone, and INNOViON and has worked closely with Auvitek and Picolight.

Prior to joining ScaleVP in 2003, Andy worked as a hardware engineer for Electronics for Imaging, designing embedded print server platforms and video compression circuits. Previously, he was a software engineer for De Beers Research Labs, conducting research on computer vision for both medical and mining applications.

Andy earned an M.S. in Electrical Engineering from Stanford University and a B.S. in Electrical Engineering from the University of Cape Town, South Africa.
