Mark leads investments in the Healthcare services, medical device and drug development industries. He sits on the boards of Alimera Sciences (NASDAQ: ALIM), Century Hospice, In-Patient Consultants Management (NASDAQ: IPCM), LivHome, National Healing Corporation, Oraya Therapeutics and Spinal Kinetics. While at ScaleVP, he has led the firm’s successful investments in Cardiac Pathways, Cygnal Integrated Products, RITA Medical Systems and U.S. HealthWorks.

Prior to joining ScaleVP, Mark was a senior associate for Mercer Management Consulting, where he led projects in the healthcare and telecommunications sectors. Prior to Mercer, he served as a Loan Officer in the Media Group of Manufacturers Hanover Trust Company, where he provided leveraged buyout and acquisition capital to cable, entertainment and publishing companies.

Mark holds an M.B.A. in Finance and Entrepreneurial Management from The Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania and a B.A. in Economics from Dartmouth College.
