| Mark J. Brooks, Managing Director, leads
investments in the healthcare services, medical device and drug development
industries for Scale Venture Partners. Mark is ScaleVP's representative
on the Board of Directors for Alimera Sciences, Inc., In-Patient
Consultants Management, Inc., LivHome, Inc., National Healing Holding
Corporation and Spinal Kinetics, Inc., and is a Board Observer for
Sylantro Systems Corporation. He is responsible for the firm's successful
investments in Cardiac Pathways, Cygnal Integrated Products, Rita
Medical and U.S. Healthworks.
Mark joined the Investment Team in 1995. Prior to joining ScaleVP, he was a Senior Associate for Mercer Management Consulting, where he led projects in the healthcare and telecommunications sectors. Prior to Mercer, he served as a Loan Officer in the Media Group of Manufacturers Hanover Trust Company, where he provided LBO and acquisition capital to cable, entertainment and publishing companies. Mark holds a B.A. in Economics from Dartmouth College and an M.B.A. in Finance and Entrepreneurial Management from The Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania. |
