Former Executive in Residence
As Executive in Residence, Donnie advises on platforms designed for developers, DevOps engineers, and data scientists. His extensive experience in these areas includes leading the DevOps transformation at global enterprise CWT as well as leading a global team at 451 Research (acquired by S&P Global Market Intelligence), which provides strategic advisory services on emerging trends in software development and DevOps. Prior roles include advising startups and Global 2000 enterprises at RedMonk; and leading more than 250 open-source contributors at Gentoo Linux.
Donnie holds a Ph.D. in biochemistry and biophysics from Oregon State University, where he specialized in computational structural biology, and dual B.S. and B.A. degrees in biochemistry and chemistry from the University of Richmond.
