Abby Strong

Abby is a Marketing & Operations Manager at Scale, working across events, community programming, marketing operations, and brand.

She was born in Michigan but grew up in the Bay Area, just miles from the epicenter of tech. Abby graduated from the University of Washington with a degree in Marketing — a passion that showed up early. She ran countless lemonade stands as a kid, posting eye-catching signs and and convincing her mom to blast the neighborhood email thread to drive traffic down their quiet suburban street. Before joining Scale, she oversaw growth marketing at Teambridge, a Series B startup in San Francisco. Prior to that, she spent six years at Salesforce running integrated campaigns across industries, including owning the marketing plan for Dreamforce.

Outside of work, Abby loves staying active, aiming for 10k steps a day and playing volleyball at Golden Gate Park on weekends. She's passionate about giving classic desserts a healthy spin (recent win: carrot cake with yogurt "cream cheese" frosting) and serves on the Next Gen Board at Peninsula Bridge, supporting first-generation, low-income students on the path to college and career success.
