Bob Genchi

Bob leads the development and management of Scale’s IT and security infrastructure.

Bob grew up in Southern California. His parents, both blue collar workers, pushed him and his siblings to pursue college degrees and white collar careers. He graduated from Santa Clara University with a B.A. in Management Information Systems. Over his 20-year career, he has held high-visibility roles at companies like Gap Inc., Salesforce, and Xactly, leading teams implementing IT and information security (infosec) projects, developing product strategy, conducting R&D, and providing support.

Outside of work, Bob is passionate about food, both cooking and enjoying great meals. He loves discovering the best local spots and acting as a guide for others, focusing on specific dishes rather than just the restaurants themselves. Outside of work, Bob loves being with his wife and kids, supporting them at sporting events, school plays, and major milestones.
