Ted Chai

Ted is an Associate at Scale focused on AI applications.

Prior to Scale, Ted founded Sonnet, a YC-backed AI notetaking startup, where he experienced the scramble for product market fit. He then joined Recall.ai as Chief of Staff, helping the company build new functions and scale from $3M to $30M ARR.

Ted studied Computer Science at UC Berkeley and lives in San Francisco. Outside of work, Ted spends his time surfing in Pacifica, writing about U.S.-China relations and convincing friends to download his TestFlights.
