We’re pleased to announce that Eric Anderson has been promoted to Partner and Noah Gross promoted to Senior Associate. Over the summer Scale also welcomed three new investing team Associates and our first Portfolio Operations Associate, who we’ll introduce below.
Eric Anderson joined Scale in 2017 following leadership roles on AWS and Google Cloud product teams. He has contributed his deep knowledge of cloud infrastructure, cybersecurity, app development, and open source to the deal teams for Matillion and BigID and more recent deals like AppOmni, Comet, and Upsolver.
Open source is a particular focus for Eric, who moonlights as the host of the Contributor podcast, where he interviews the founders of open source projects large and small.
Our newest Senior Associate Noah Gross joined Scale in 2019, focusing on opportunities in business and infrastructure software including workflow and productivity tools, Customer 360 software, and FinTech. Recently he was a key member of the deal team for Upsolver’s $25M Scale-led Series B.
We’re also pleased to introduce three new Associates with unique backgrounds and skill sets:
- Max Abram joins us from Kayne Anderson’s growth equity group
- Anika Ayyar brings experience as a former Google product manager
- Misha Bansal held roles at Orbital Insights and JPMorgan
And last but not least, Edi Danalache has joined our Scaling Platform as Portfolio Operations Associate. Formerly with McKinsey, Edi will apply his computer science and consulting skills to teasing out insights from the Scale Studio dataset. He works closely with Dale Chang on advising our portfolio companies on scaling and go-to-market.
